Terms of Service

Last updated: September 20, 2026

These terms apply when you buy a website cleanup or a monthly plan from WP Hack Fix ("we", "us"). WP Hack Fix is a brand of Unified Gurus LLC, Winter Garden, FL. The work is carried out by our sister company, My Website Spot; your agreement is with Unified Gurus LLC. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

1. What we do

We remove malware from WordPress websites, repair hacked sites, harden them against future attacks, request removal from security blocklists, and provide ongoing maintenance and support under our monthly plans. The work is performed by hand by our team at My Website Spot, using standard tools and techniques.

2. Your authorization

You confirm that you own the website you are asking us to work on, or that you are authorized by the owner to have work performed on it, and that you authorize us to access, modify, and repair the website, its database, and its hosting account for that purpose.

If you are not the owner, you are responsible for having the owner's permission. We may ask for proof of ownership or authorization, and we may refuse or stop work if we can't reasonably confirm it. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from work you asked us to perform on a website you were not authorized to have worked on.

3. Access and credentials

To do the work we need administrator access to WordPress and to your hosting account or server. We ask you to share credentials through a secure, self-destructing link, not by plain email. Do not send passwords in website forms, ordinary email, or chat.

You are responsible for the security of credentials while they are in your possession. After we finish, we recommend you change all passwords and remove any temporary accounts created for us. We are not responsible for credentials you share through insecure means, or for activity on your accounts by anyone other than us.

4. Prices, payment, and plans

  • One-time cleanup: $349 for one WordPress installation, payable before work begins.
  • Protect: $100 per month, billed monthly in advance.
  • Protect + Support: $200 per month, billed monthly in advance.

Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. We don't store your card details. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice for existing subscribers; the new price applies to your next billing period.

5. Discounted cleanups and the 3-month minimum

When you buy a cleanup at a reduced price (or at no charge) together with a monthly plan, that price depends on you keeping the plan for at least 3 months.

If you cancel before 3 months have been paid, the standard cleanup price of $349 applies, less the discounted cleanup amount you already paid, and we may charge the difference to your payment method. After the minimum term, you can cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period. We don't refund partial months.

6. Promotional offers

Promotional prices apply only while the promotion is running, are limited to the number of places stated, and cover one cleanup per website. They can't be combined with other offers and don't apply retroactively to work already ordered.

7. Money-back guarantee

If we can't clean your website, we refund the cleanup fee. "Can't clean it" means we are unable to remove the malicious code or restore your site to working order. The guarantee covers the cleanup fee only, not monthly plan fees for periods already served, and not work you cancel or abandon partway through (for example, by not giving us access). Refund requests must be made within 14 days of the work.

8. Reinfection coverage

One-time cleanups include 14 days of coverage from the date we complete the work: if the same infection returns in that period, we clean it again at no charge. Protect and Protect + Support include re-cleanups for as long as your plan is active.

Coverage does not apply where the site is compromised again because of something outside our work, including: installing pirated or "nulled" themes or plugins, restoring an infected backup, shared credentials or compromised devices, a compromise of your hosting environment or another site on the same account, or changes made by you or a third party after we finish.

9. What's included, and what isn't

Protect covers updates, backups, monitoring, security configuration, and re-cleanups. Protect + Support adds up to 2 hours of website changes and fixes per calendar month, plus access to a priority phone line. Unused time doesn't carry over to the next month.

The following are not included in any plan and are quoted separately: custom development, redesigns, writing content, work on software other than WordPress, and work on other websites.

Each cleanup price covers one WordPress installation. WordPress multisite networks, and multiple infected installations on one hosting account, are quoted separately.

10. WooCommerce and payment-data incidents

WooCommerce stores are cleaned at the same price as other sites. If we find malware that may have captured customer payment details, we will tell you what we found. Meeting any resulting legal, card-industry, or customer-notification obligations is your responsibility as the merchant. We can help with that work, quoted separately.

11. Backups and data

We take a backup before we begin work where it's practical to do so, but you remain responsible for keeping your own backups, particularly on one-time cleanups. Cleaning a hacked site involves modifying and removing files and database content, and in some cases infected content can't be repaired and has to be removed.

12. Response times

We reply to new requests within 1 business day. Business hours are Mon–Fri, 9–5 ET, excluding US public holidays. Cleanups are typically completed within 1–2 business days of receiving working access, though complex cases can take longer. These are targets, not guarantees.

13. No guarantee of future security

No website can be made completely secure. Our work reduces risk and removes known infections; it does not guarantee that your site will never be compromised again. We also can't control decisions made by third parties such as Google, browser vendors, or your hosting company, including how quickly a security warning is removed.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the services in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue, lost profits, lost data, loss of search rankings, or reputational harm.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't be excluded under applicable law.

15. Your responsibilities

  • Give us accurate information and timely access.
  • Keep your own backups.
  • Tell us about anything unusual about the site (custom code, staging copies, other developers working on it).
  • Don't ask us to do anything unlawful, including accessing systems you don't control.

16. Cancellation and suspension

You can cancel a monthly plan at any time after any minimum term, effective at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or end service if payment fails, if you breach these terms, or if we reasonably believe the work would be unlawful or unsafe. If we end service without cause, we refund the unused portion of your current billing period.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The "last updated" date at the top shows when. Material changes affecting subscribers take effect at the start of the next billing period.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.
