Refund Policy

Plain version: if we can't clean your site, you don't pay. The detail is below. This policy sits alongside our Terms of Service.

One-time cleanups

If we can't clean your website, we refund the $349 cleanup fee in full. "Can't clean it" means we're unable to remove the malicious code or restore your site to working order.

We can't refund a cleanup where:

• the work is finished and the site is clean, but you've changed your mind;
• we couldn't proceed because we didn't get working access to the site or hosting;
• the site was reinfected by something outside our work, as described under reinfection coverage in our Terms.

Refund requests need to be made within 14 days of the work.

Reinfection, not a refund

If the same infection comes back within 14 days of a one-time cleanup, we clean it again at no charge. On Protect and Protect + Support, re-cleanups are included for as long as your plan is active. In most cases that's a faster fix than a refund, so tell us first and we'll take another look.

Monthly plans

Plans are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled at any time after any minimum term. Cancelling stops the next payment; we don't refund partial months, because the work for that month (updates, backups, and monitoring) has already been done.

If we end your plan without cause, we refund the unused part of the month you've paid for.

Discounted or free cleanups

A cleanup bought at a reduced price alongside a monthly plan depends on keeping the plan for 3 months. If you cancel earlier, the standard $349 cleanup price applies, less what you already paid for the cleanup, and we may charge the difference. This isn't a penalty; it's the regular price of the work you received.

Duplicate or mistaken charges

Contact us and we'll sort it out. Genuine duplicate charges are refunded in full.

How to request a refund

Email help@wphackfix.com with your website address and what happened. We'll reply within 1 business day (Mon–Fri, 9–5 ET). Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
