Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information WP Hack Fix collects, how we use it, and who we share it with. WP Hack Fix is a brand of Unified Gurus LLC, Winter Garden, FL.

Information you give us

• Contact and order details: your name, email address, website address, hosting company, and anything you write in our forms or emails.
• Access credentials: shared through a secure, self-destructing link, used only to perform the service you asked for. We ask you not to send passwords by ordinary email or in website forms.
• Payment details: handled by our payment processor. We receive confirmation of payment and basic billing details; we never see or store your full card number.

Information about your website

To clean or maintain your site we access its files, database, user accounts, and server logs. That content may include personal information about your own users or customers. We access it only to perform the service, we don't use it for anything else, and we don't copy it beyond what the work requires (for example, a backup taken before cleanup).

Information collected automatically

• Google Analytics and Tag Manager: we use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics, which tells us how people find and move around this site so we can make it more useful. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects things like the pages you view, roughly where you are, and what kind of device you're on. We don't run advertising or remarketing tags on this site, and we don't use this data to build a profile of you or to follow you around other websites.
• Security and anti-spam: our site runs on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots; it may store a short-lived token in your browser for that purpose.
• Server logs: standard request data, kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.

We don't use advertising cookies on this website, and we don't sell or share what analytics collects. If you'd rather not be counted at all, Google publishes a browser opt-out add-on, and most browsers let you block cookies for a site.

How we use information

• To answer your questions and give you quotes.
• To perform the cleanup, maintenance, and support you've purchased.
• To take payment and keep billing records.
• To send service messages, such as reports, access requests, and renewal or billing notices.
• To keep our own site secure and working.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

We only send marketing email if you've asked for it, and every one has an unsubscribe link. Service messages about work in progress aren't marketing and can't be unsubscribed from while your work or plan is active.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, under contracts that limit what they can do with it:

• Google: Tag Manager and Analytics, for understanding how the site is used.
• Cloudflare: website hosting, security, email routing.
• Our payment processor: payments and subscription billing.
• Our helpdesk and email providers: handling and storing support conversations.
• Our secure note service: one-time transfer of credentials.
• Accounting and legal advisors, where needed.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.

How long we keep it

Credentials are used for the work and not retained beyond it. Support conversations, incident reports, and billing records are kept for as long as needed to run the business and meet legal and tax obligations, typically several years. Backups taken during cleanup are deleted on a routine schedule once the work is complete and settled.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted transfer, and a secure, self-destructing service for credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR, such as the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccuracies, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We don't sell personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of on that front.

Children

Our services are for businesses and site owners. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Where information is processed

We're based in the United States and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you contact us from outside the US, you understand your information will be processed in the US.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
